Lecture series

Just as Büchner examined the nervous system of barbs for his dissertation, scholars from various disciplines are ready to expose Büchner’s nerve cords and examine them from their respective points of view in this lecture series. Erratic and restless behaviour, nervousness, a keen interest in the grotesque, a researcher’s spirit, a desire for freedom and further aspects that keep both the author and his work relevant for us today will be considered individually.
